Christmas

This Christmas was awesome! We went to Halifax, to visit family of our Hostmum. We arrived there a few days before Christmas and so we had some time to explore Halifax. Layla and me spent some time in and around Halifax doing shopping in the Halifax Shopping Centre(Great!!!!!) and the Mic Mac Mall. We had lots of fun shopping and bought a lot!

We also made two hikes in the neighbourhood and I (first time in my life) stood on a frozen lake. That was such an amazing experience. I just loved it.

On christmas eve, we had an amazing dinner and I wore a dress(for the people who know me: Yes I wore it really! :) )

On Christmas morning, we woke up around 5.30 when the first kid woke up, but it didn't matter. It was just so amazing and lovely to see the kids opening their presents and being excited and happy. And I loved our stockings! My Hostsister and I both got one from our parents and it was soooo cool! And the present we both liked most was the TIM HORTONS GIFTCARD!!!! ( We decided together we have to bring Tim Hortons to Europe-it is the best coffee shop in the world!) And we got more wonderful presents from Chris and Brian, Krista and Charlie and it was just wonderful. My parents send me a parcel with two wonderful Christmas Cards in. The first one was from my godmother Simone: I cried when I opened it! It was just so wonderful. And the earrings she gave me, I am wearing at the moment. THANK YOU! I love you! My parents present made me cry again, but at all, I would say it was the best Christmas I ever celebrated. Lots of new Canadian traditions I will take home and never forget. I loved it. THANK YOU to everybody who made this Christmas so special for me! You can find the best of the Pictures I took in the Gallery in the Album "Christmas in Halifax"!
